The 💎International Workshop on High Pressure Science💎 is held by 2026 Autumn School for High Pressure Techniques, bringing together domestic and international experts to share recent research and hands-on experience.
The workshop will highlight high-pressure techniques for advanced synthesis and characterization, providing participants with a broad perspective on how pressure is used to investigate novel materials, extreme environments, and phase transitions.
📢 Three thematic sessions
Large-Volume Press, LVP
The HPHT techniques are essential for novel metastable materials exploration and advance high-pressure measurements at large-scale facilities.
Diamond Anvil Cell, DAC
DAC techniques are widely used to investigate the optical, electrical, magnetic, Raman spectroscopic, and X-ray diffraction of materials under high pressure.
Single-Crystal X-ray Diffraction, SC-XRD
SC-XRD combined with HP techniques, focusing on microcrystal measurements, structural analysis, and pressure-induced phase transitions of materials.
✨ Highlights
This workshop spans condensed matter physics, chemistry, Earth sciences, and materials science. Through invited lectures, technical courses, and hands-on training, the participants will be guided from fundamental concepts to practical operation.
Join the workshop to take the first steps into high-pressure research!
📌 Target Participants
Undergraduate and graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, and scientists interested in high-pressure science, materials synthesis, structural analysis, and extreme-condition measurements are warmly encouraged to attend the workshop.
💬 Course Information
There is no registration fee for this workshop. Invited lectures and technical courses will be conducted mainly in English; hands-on sessions will be supported by assistants, and Chinese-language instruction and discussion will generally be available.
