Title: Fabrication of nanostructured adsorbents for the decontamination in Fukushima
Abstract: The titanate nanowires are fabricated from titanium alloy precursors by a dealloying-oxidation method. The obtained nanowires with layered structures exhibit remarkable Sr ion-exchange properties.
Speaker: Prof. Yasushi Nomura (Faculty of Textile Science and Technology, Department of Chemistry and Materials Applied Molecular Chemistry Shinshu University)
Title: Topological analysis of electronic structures in carbon nanotubes (CNT).
Abstract: The electronic structures in CNT's with finite length are topologically analyzed based on the chemical graph theory. It is shown that the structures can be classified by the analysis.
Speaker: Prof. Mutsumi Kimura (Department Chair Faculty of Textile Science and Technology Department of Chemistry and Materials andResearch Initiative for Supra-Materials Shinshu University)
Title: Development of Printable Nanomaterials for Wearable Devices
Abstract: We design various organic functional materials for foldable wearable devices by using several printing technologies. I will introduce our research stories relating on solar cells, sensors, and actuators in my talk.
