Brief abstract:
In this lecture, I will focus on spin-dependent tunneling and the
respective investigation of magnetic systems. The lecture will start
from spin-dependent tunneling in the pre-STM era and cover recent
development on spin-polarized Scanning Tunneling Microscopy and
spin-flip processes.
