CCMS and AI-Mat will jointly host a "Career Development and Mental Wellness Series Workshop"in the 113th academic year.
This series aims to help undergraduate students, graduate students,and researchers at our center enhance their personal development and start planning their
careers early. We will invite scholars, industry professionals, and psychologists to discuss academic writing for research papers and cover letters, interview
techniques, and presenting scientific work.
The first event will take place on November 14th. We are excited to welcome Professor Tammy Wu and Professor David Chou from the Department of
English Language, Literature, and Linguistics at Providence University. Their expertise lies in English for Academic Purposes (EAP), particularly in writing and speaking skills.
This session will focus on improving EAP writing abilities, and attendees will learn how to effectively write CVs, statements of purpose, and cover letters
—essential skills for academic success and career growth.
