abstract.
"A short review of the modification of radiation spectra in far-field zone of homogeneous broadening single line by a plasmonic system will be done mainly on the basis of studies made in Prof. J.K. Wang's lab. It will be shown a behavior of the radiation intensity of fluorescence and Raman scattering, the life time and frequency shift as function of the plasmonic system parameters and emitter-metal distance. Predicted dramatic change in emission and absorption spectra leading to Rabi splitting of the single line will be demonstrated for two cases: a single quantum well and an emitter near a flat substrate. A hot emission caused by the plasmonic system and a real energy spectra of semiconductors and molecules. A classical explanation and estimations of the above mentioned results will be done.”
